Update announcements 6/30/14

Hello everyone, this is an update post to Young Spark's structure. This includes the loss of Pokeboss from Young Spark, new departments, how to add/change departments and updates on projects that are coming soon. Here are a few things that I neglected to mention:

- We will be looking for a replacement for Pokeboss. I'm in the process of turning his role into a job description should anyone be interested in filling his place. As of now, this will include an interview and a separate application. So, if you aren't a member of Young Spark now then you better start applying!

- In addition to the new departments, we also have an official Deviantart. Click here to go and join it! It's free for anyone to join and to post onto it.

- The roles of all the members will be changing as well to help ensure productivity towards the growth of our group. So stay tuned!

- We are looking for admins and other roles that will be opening up soon so stay tuned!

If there are any updates to this then I will be sure to post them here. Stay tuned!

*UPDATE* New application process for Young Spark Members

Hello everyone and thank you for considering joining our group if you aren't already a member. For everyone whom wants to continue being a member and those whom are new and want to join, you NEED to fill this out. This is how we are going to know who are members and who are not. First, you have follow the instructions given in the form. If anything is hard to understand then Pokeboss and I made a video explaining the process of filling out the Google Form.

The link is officially offline. We will be accepting applications on a later date, but thank you for your interest.

If you prefer the old school pen/paper method and have a way to scan it and send it back to us, then we have a Word edition and PDF edition on here. You can fill them out by downloading and printing them out in the manner you prefer, then email us a copy back to our email in the contact us page.

There will be videos explaining any questions you may have, or if nothing else contact the Young Spark Twitter or Facebook Page. This information is kept secure and is only accessible to Harmonic Inferno and Pokeboss (our execs/co-founders) if they should need any info.

I know this seems a little over done, but we thank you in advance for your cooperation. We have been having a lot of confusion with the group over the past couple of months so now let's start to build a community of activist together!

~Inferno decided to do the FiM Fic but needs a name for it. If you have any ideas then leave a comment here or find him on Twitter. Winner will have their name featured on here, in the credits of the story and something else that hasn't been determined yet.

~Pokeboss is looking for some art! He is looking for some ponies to draw his OC. Send him some love too guys! He's the one who pushed for this herd and deserves some love as well!

And now the art! As a quick note, if it's not up immediately Inferno was going through a lot the past few days and is about to head on vacation so it may take a little time for him to get everything up to date! However, don't be afraid to submit more art!

Pokemon Let's Play!

Hey guys! Pokeboss coming right at you with my first official blog post!

First of all, I just want to kind of say how much I appreciate the support that you guys have shown in the early stages of this community. We've got some truly special ponies associated with Team Young Spark, and I'm frankly excited to see where this ends up taking us.

Now that I've got that out of the way, I can move on to the true purpose of this post! As many of you can tell, either from Twitter posts or simple deduction, I am an avid Pokemon fan. I mean hell, my cutie mark is a Masterball for Celestia's sake. So I decided to share with everypony a playthrough of Pokemon Yellow.

The reason I chose Yellow is because that was the first game I ever played. My parents bought me a Gameboy Color when I was about 5, and the rest is history. Also, I think it's one of the better versions of the Pokemon games because not only can you get all 3 of the regular starters AND a Pikachu, I enjoy the graphical improvements they made between R/G/B and Yellow.

Anyways, I hope everypony enjoys the video and can forgive the little audio glitch that seems persistant throughout the video. If it becomes a problem, I'll just end up muting the sound from the emulator and maybe playing some music in the background of the videos. I haven't really decided yet.

Hello everypony! Here's all the art we've received since we started this group up on Twitter on 7-21-13. If we can keep content running like this, we will post once every Tuesday and Thursday however once we start running slow then we'll set back to once a week. I hope Inferno's "novel" on that one CD scare you! He created a well informed paper, and has said the next part will be a lot thinner. Any who, here's the art.
