Operation Ponyshare Update!

hello everyone! In case you were wondering how Operation Ponyshare is going, here you go. There's been an important update however!

 

The deadline is to have everything mailed in by August 2nd, 2014. Anything not in by then will miss the first drop off! This is THE LAST TIME I am going to extend it. Please donate if you haven't already!

Also Levine Children's Center has told me that the ponies MUST be brand new or else they cannot take them. So, if they aren't new then do not send them. However, if you have something else that will fit their criteria that they need, then feel free to send it in! Click here for the list.

Update announcements 6/30/14

Hello everyone, this is an update post to Young Spark's structure. This includes the loss of Pokeboss from Young Spark, new departments, how to add/change departments and updates on projects that are coming soon. Here are a few things that I neglected to mention:

- We will be looking for a replacement for Pokeboss. I'm in the process of turning his role into a job description should anyone be interested in filling his place. As of now, this will include an interview and a separate application. So, if you aren't a member of Young Spark now then you better start applying!

- In addition to the new departments, we also have an official Deviantart. Click here to go and join it! It's free for anyone to join and to post onto it.

- The roles of all the members will be changing as well to help ensure productivity towards the growth of our group. So stay tuned!

- We are looking for admins and other roles that will be opening up soon so stay tuned!

If there are any updates to this then I will be sure to post them here. Stay tuned!

Operation Ponyshare

Young Spark Bronies (@TeamYoungSpark) is starting our first fundraiser to benefit the children at the Levine Children's Hospital of Charlotte; Operation Ponyshare. We are looking for plushies to give to the kids there. If someone is interested in sending us some hand made ones, I'm not opposed but the Wal-mart ones ($5, with the spaghetti hair) will work just as well. We are trying to avoid the figurines in order to keep everything age appropriate for the younger ones (possible choking hazard and whatnot). If someone cannot donate physical donations, then I will open up a PayPal for money donations. We are requesting if someone donates over PayPal that it's $5 but we will take any amount.

The donations will go from Saturday, May 10th through Saturday, June 28th in order for them to be delivered on our first drop off date (approx. July 4th) but we will continue the plan for as long as we can afford to have them moved from the address to where we are located.

Official Young Spark Roster

Hello everyone! Inferno here with the official Young Spark Bronies Roster for this first 6 months. This will be short and sweet but I wanted to thank Pokeboss for helping with making the application and Deep Void for helping me build it. Y'all rock!

*UPDATE* New application process for Young Spark Members

Hello everyone and thank you for considering joining our group if you aren't already a member. For everyone whom wants to continue being a member and those whom are new and want to join, you NEED to fill this out. This is how we are going to know who are members and who are not. First, you have follow the instructions given in the form. If anything is hard to understand then Pokeboss and I made a video explaining the process of filling out the Google Form.

If you prefer the old school pen/paper method and have a way to scan it and send it back to us, then we have a Word edition and PDF edition on here. You can fill them out by downloading and printing them out in the manner you prefer, then email us a copy back to our email in the contact us page.

There will be videos explaining any questions you may have, or if nothing else contact the Young Spark Twitter or Facebook Page. This information is kept secure and is only accessible to Harmonic Inferno and Pokeboss (our execs/co-founders) if they should need any info.

I know this seems a little over done, but we thank you in advance for your cooperation. We have been having a lot of confusion with the group over the past couple of months so now let's start to build a community of activist together!
